DoD HPCMP Multi-Tenant Supercomputing – A Preview
Distribution Statement for this abstract: Distribution A
Classification/Distribution Level of Presentation: Distribution C // CUI
An innovative DoD "multi-tenant" supercomputing capability is currently under development that will allow HPCMP users to execute jobs on a shared, large-scale DoD supercomputer for programs/projects that require isolation due to classification caveats or data sensitivities beyond those typically addressed in a collateral secret environment.
The presentation will discuss requirements, challenges, technical approaches, solutions, extensibility, and future development plans for the capability. A demonstration will follow that will preview how the DoD HPCMP "multi-tenant" supercomputing capability can be exercised using the interface designed to setup jobs, launch jobs, and examine results. The demo will show how a high-fidelity AI-enhanced version of the force modeling tool (AFSIM) would be exercised at large-scale within the multi-tenant supercomputing environment to include visualizations of the final results.
Note that this presentation will be supported by contractors that will be attending the UGM from SealingTech and InfiniteTactics. The contractors are developing the software that will provide this capability.
